1 What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit — like your logged-in status or display preferences — so you don't have to re-enter it every time.

We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage (browser storage APIs) to save temporary state like your session tokens and reply history. These function similarly to cookies but are accessible only by the site that created them.

2 Why We Use Cookies

Nudge uses cookies and browser storage for the following purposes:

  • Keeping you logged in between sessions
  • Remembering your business settings and preferences
  • Saving your reply history locally on your device
  • Understanding how users navigate the platform (analytics)
  • Protecting the platform from abuse and fraud

3 Cookie Categories

Essential Required

Necessary for the platform to function. Without these, you cannot log in, navigate the dashboard, or use core features. These cannot be disabled.

Functional Optional

Remember your preferences like tone settings, reply length, and sidebar state so you don't have to reconfigure them each visit.

Analytics Optional

Help us understand how features are used so we can improve the product. Data is aggregated and anonymized. We do not use advertising trackers.

Marketing Optional

Currently not used. We do not place advertising cookies or share data with ad networks. If this changes, we will update this policy and request your consent.

5 Third-Party Cookies

Minimal Third-Party Tracking Nudge does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or advertising trackers. We keep third-party cookies to the minimum required for security and payment processing.

The following third-party services may set cookies on our platform:

  • Stripe — Sets cookies for secure payment form processing (e.g., __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid). These are essential for processing payments and are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy.
  • Cloudflare — Sets cf_clearance for DDoS and bot protection. Essential for platform security.
  • Google Fonts — Font files are loaded from Google servers. Google may log basic request metadata. No tracking cookies are set by our use of Google Fonts.
